Choose a session on biodiversity and tree planting, data centers and AI, or environmental law and policy, or join the student poster walk-through.

Choose a session on climate narratives, climate psychology or media literacy.

Catered lunch and networking
Free lunch for everyone. Tables are grouped by topic, so you can sit with IU faculty and environmental professionals who work on the issue you care about. Student posters stay up through lunch.

Workshop 3: Pick Your Medium
Choose written journalism, photojournalism or short film, and start the story you will pitch at 3 p.m.

Story pitch session
Pitch your story idea to a friendly panel of journalists and professors. Students whose pitches are selected get a YEPT mentor and a path to publication.
4 p.m.
4-5 p.m.
IUSB Common Area
Optional reception and interview hour
Interview local environmental experts and journalists for your story, or talk with IU students and workshop leaders. This hour is optional.
