Workshop tracks
The day has three workshop blocks, one for each track. In each block, you choose one session.

9:30-11 a.m.
Environmental Hot Topics
The first workshop block covers environmental issues you can report on in northern Indiana. Choose from sessions on biodiversity and tree planting, the environmental footprint of data centers and AI, and Indiana environmental law and policy, or join the student poster walk-through. Researchers, policy experts and community advocates lead the sessions.

11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Climate in Perspective
The second workshop block ("Climate in Perspective") will teach students about the possibilities and potentialities for environmental advocacy through storytelling. Students will be able to choose from Climate Media Literacy, Doom and Gloom: Climate Psychology, and Stories We Live By.

1:30-3 p.m.
Pick Your Medium
The third workshop block is where you make something. Choose written journalism, photojournalism or short film. Presenters from Indiana University and the Youth Environmental Press Team (YEPT) lead the sessions.
