Track

Food for Thought

Climate psychology, media literacy, and diverse environmental narratives.

This track addresses the emotional, psychological, and cultural dimensions of environmental storytelling. Sessions cover climate grief and eco-anxiety, media literacy and fact-checking in the age of social media, and diversifying the environmental narrative through Indigenous and environmental literature perspectives.

Food for Thought prepares students to be thoughtful, resilient, and inclusive storytellers. Understanding the psychology of climate communication, the role of fact-based journalism, and the value of diverse voices are essential tools for any environmental journalist.
